Ollioules, Saint Mandrier, La Seyne and Six Fours are home to a large religious, cultural, military and maritime heritage. This past, as you will see, is still very much present in the hearts of the inhabitants. On May 1st for example, it is customary to go to the chapel Notre Dame du Mai located at the highest point of Cap Sicié. The ascent is done on foot starting from the city centre of Six Fours by following the path of oratories. The chapel, exceptionally opened in May, offers visitors a multitude of ex-voto portraying sea fortunes.
