It is from La Seyne that the history of Bonaparte joins that of Napoleon and that our town saves the Republic in 1793.
It is from La Seyne that the history of Bonaparte joins that of Napoleon and that our town saves the Republic in 1793.
The town wishes to use this historical fact to create a festive event that will allow a strong solidarity and social link to be established, highlighting our region and its coastline, its military history and its national and international tourist influence.
On the programme:
- Friday 26 May:
From 9am to 1pm: guided tour of the Château de Montauban in Ollioules with Mr Ribot (By reservation 09 85 15 68 03).
2pm: "Les bastides ollioulaises sur les traces de l'armée 1793" (Ollioules bastides on the trail of the 1793 army) walk from the Château de Montauban (By reservation on 09 85 15 68 03).
6.30 pm at the Joa casino: official opening of the festival, then at 7 pm, showing of the film "Bonaparte, l'envol de l'aigle" by Guy Fournier.
- Saturday 27th May :
> From 10 am to 2 pm, Tamaris pier: "Over the water" visits (reading of the landscape on a boat). Registration on site.
