Villa - Tamaris - Maillard Yves
Large villa in a quiet, in the greenery at 1 500 m from the beaches, able to accommodate up to 12 people. Small sea view on each level. 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. All shops nearby. Ranked as a 3-star furnished tourist accommodation.
Ideal vacation home for a large family or group of friends.
With its generous spaces (190 m2 in total) spread over 2 levels, the villa can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people. It's ideal for vacations or pleasure stays, in summer or all year round. It offers five bedrooms (from 10 to 20 m2), three bathrooms, two with bath and one with shower and WC. There are also two separate WCs.
The villa offers a vast living room of over 50m2, where you can all get together, with a dining area, and an independent kitchen where you can have your meals.
It is furnished by the owners with antique furniture and family heirlooms, which give it its charm and to which they are very attached.
It offers every comfort. In summer, a barbecue. In winter, central heating and a tiled wood-burning stove create a very special atmosphere.
A recently restored piano adds to the ambience.
Each level enjoys a small sea view, both out to sea and over the bay of Lazaret, part of the Toulon harbor, one of the most beautiful in Europe.
You can also take advantage of the fenced-in, shady 1,200 m2 garden, enjoy meals in the shade of an olive tree and relax in the outdoor lounge.
Children can play in peace and quiet.
A 10-square-meter swimming pool offers everyone the opportunity to have fun, enjoy themselves and relax.
The house has a garage. Several vehicles can easily be parked both inside the property and outside in the condominiums.
Just 1500 m from the house, the Sablettes beach, extended by the Mar-Vivo beach, is one of the most beautiful beaches in the region, sheltered from the wind and with particularly clear water.
At the other end, at the small, very Mediterranean port of Saint-Elme, with its typical fishing boats (pointus), you can enjoy a wide range of water sports, including windsurfing, sailing and motorboat rental, with or without a license, or diving with a very dynamic club.
Early in the morning or in the evening after the fishermen have returned, you can buy exquisitely tasty fresh fish.
The area offers an abundance of walking opportunities, whether along a recently redeveloped coastal path offering magnificent sea views and passing through pine forests overhanging the rocks, or inland. In addition, the region abounds in cultural and historical treasures such as castles, Romanesque and Gothic chapels, museums and emblematic old Provencal villages.
We fell in love with this verdant neighborhood of varied Mediterranean essences set in a rugged coastline, with the sea omnipresent, including several beaches, shores and small ports. It's located in a perfectly quiet neighborhood, yet close to all amenities.
The Tamaris district is located on one of the most beautiful tourist sites on the Côte d'Azur, apart from the most famous. It has preserved its authentic charm of yesteryear, with its grand turn-of-the-century villas, some of which are listed as remarkable buildings, its green spaces, its seafront promenade, the corniche Michel Pacha, just a few hundred meters from the house, and its former forts converted into tourist attractions.
Directly accessible from our housing estate via a private road, the Fort Napoléon hill, a historic site, contains a communal forest with a sports trail and a view of Toulon harbor. A little further on, the vast Janas state forest at Cap Sicié climbs up to the Notre Dame du Mai chapel, from where there is a beautiful view of the sea and the region. Mountain biking and horse riding are also possible.
The town center of La Seyne, an old Provencal village with a colorful market, has recently been completely renovated, with the creation of beautiful, wide promenades and shady avenues along the seafront, as well as a park and elegant new buildings. It also boasts a large marina.
Just 10 km away, Toulon offers all the facilities of a large city (including a TGV train station, less than 4 hours from Paris). Hyères airport is half an hour away by freeway.
Several historic sites close to the house (Fort Napoléon, Fort Balaguier, its naval museum and its prison museum, Villa "Tamaris"....) host quality cultural shows and exhibitions throughout the year.
The villa is classified as a "3-star furnished tourist accommodation".
A rental contract is drawn up with the owners.
Renters must also pay the tourist tax (1.86 E per adult per night).
A deposit of 500 E is required (check not cashed).
The house must be left clean and ready for re-rental, otherwise a cleaning charge of 100 E applies.
Bedding is provided with two undersheets per bed, pillows, comforter and blanket.
Linen can be rented in addition: sheets, comforter covers, pillowcases, towels.
