You'll discover Claude Ferrito, créchiste (Santons and decor), Jean-Christophe Serig "Rire et Grandir" (Laughing and Growing), chantourneur sur bois and Deborah Lollivier, céramiste, and then the Galerie de l'Olivier, a gallery showcasing the full range of arts and crafts.
Since the Neolithic Age, Ollioules has been synonymous with quality craftsmanship. From alley to alley, your guide will explain the ancient techniques used to decorate facades and window frames (gypseries) during the Renaissance period.
Centuries of olive-growing were used to produce both olive oil and the famous "Savons de Toulon" (now Savon de Marseille).
You'll discover the history of these skills on a guided tour that takes you from one art studio to another, all of whom have perpetuated this tradition of experience and craft creation: stained glass artists, crechists, wood carvers, plastic artists, ceramists...
The tour ends at the Galerie de l'Olivier, where you can discover the works of all the artists, and share a glass of friendship.
