Marseille, the château d'If boat cruise - ATLANTIDE
At the end of this cruise, we will stop over on the archipelago of the Friuli islands for your lunch break. (Picnic to be planned!)
Relaxation and swimming are on the agenda! Atlantide and its crew will then meet you again in the early afternoon to take you on a discovery tour of the Chateau d'If: an ancient fortress built under Francis I in 1524, it became a prison in the 17th century. The novel by Alexander Dumas, the Count of Monte Cristo, "made him famous.
To end this day combining culture and heritage, we will take you to the heart of the Phocaean city, in the Old Port of Marseille for an approach from the sea. You will then discover the Forts Saint Jean and Saint Nicolas but also the famous Canebière.
