Since the Neolithic Age, the Ollioules area has been synonymous with quality craftsmanship. From alley to alley, your guide will comment on different ancient techniques used for the decoration of facades and window frames (gypseries) during the Renaissance period.
Centuries of olive oil production were used to make both olive oil and the famous "Savons de Toulon" (now Savon de Marseille).
You will discover the history of these skills through a guided tour that will take you from art workshops to art workshops that have perpetuated this tradition in terms of experience and craft creation: stained glass, crechist, wood carver, plastic artist, ceramist...
The visit will end at the Olive Tree Gallery, where you will be able to discover the works of all the artists, while sharing a glass of friendship.
