Nicolas Folmer and Michel Legrand met in 2008. This "artistic love at first sight" led to many shared concerts and a joint album: "Nicolas Folmer plays Michel Legrand" in 2009. Now, 14 years on, Nicolas Folmer reappropriates Michel Legrand's universe, crossing it with his own, his innovations and the hindsight of his career. "Nicolas Folmer Michel Legrand Stories" is his 17th album as leader. The two composers worked closely together, and it is thanks to this trust and relationship that he offers this repertoire of covers and original creations. Nicolas Folmer recorded the critically acclaimed album "So Miles" in 2019 (choc Jazzmagazine, Must TSF, praised by "Le Monde").
