Sailing course - CN de Saint-Mandrier
The Centre Nautique de Saint-Mandrier offers sailing or fusion (dinghy) courses for your children, as well as outings with family and friends.
Internship programs:
Optimist course :
For children aged 7 and over.
It will take place in 4/5 morning sessions for beginners, Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 12pm.
Fusion course (dinghy):
For children aged 11 and over.
4/5 afternoon sessions from 2pm to 4:30pm.
Children will learn how to sail on a route chosen and supervised by the instructor.
- Technique: Move forward with the help of a sail and steer at the helm;
- Safety: Apply safety instructions;
- Environmental awareness: Respect the environment.
A state-qualified instructor will be in charge of the activities.
Registration conditions are :
- CNSM membership (30€ included in the price)
- FFV membership (sailing passport €11.50 included in the price)
- Produce the health questionnaire attached to the booking request or, if the answer to one of the questions is "yes", produce a medical certificate attached to the booking request.
- Attest that the participant knows how to immerse and swim 25 m (provision relating to the aquatic fluency test - decree of September 9, 2015).
- Complete the registration and parental authorization form attached to the reservation request.
Recommended equipment :
-Swimsuit, shorts, t-shirt (possibly short 1mm neoprene wetsuit, retail price approx. 15€);
-Pullover, windbreaker;
-Closed shoes (sneakers, plastic sandals, neoprene slippers - no boots);
-Spare set, towel;
-Sunglasses with cord;
-Cap, sunscreen;
-Small bottle of water.
