VISIT OF A LLAMA BREEDING CENTER
The llama has contributed to the wealth of South America and has seduced North America. Today, it is conquering Europe. From the Andes to the Var, a journey of several million years.
The free visits (from 10 am to 6 pm - in July and August only - Friday Saturday Sunday without appointment)
Enter the intimacy of the herd, with births from April to September. Several panels border the park to explain and make you discover the various anecdotes on this still unknown animal. These llamas already venerated by the Incas, especially bred for their wool, will not fail to seduce young and old. And you will learn everything about the life of llamas, their history, their ecology, their scientific and sociological references, without forgetting to enjoy their tenderness through a petting session.
Free visits from 10am to 6pm (without interruption) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in July and August.
The breeding proposes all year long (from Monday to Thursday - by appointment only), visits "Discovery and knowledge" of llamas, which will make you participate in several workshops in contact with the llamas. With pedagogy for the beginning of the visit, followed by a workshop of brushing the llamas, then an initiation to hiking on an adapted course, and to finish, a workshop of creation in wool made in Var Lamas that you will bring back home.
